Now that this product is getting a little more usage, does anyone have any requests for changes?

Igor and I are interested in hearing about all requests.

Regards,
Chris

Good tool...but...

Post by PaveDave » Sun Feb 17, 2008 3:01 pm

guys, this is nice that I can actually retrieve great info from AD BUT ---- give me a way to output. It is called REPORTS TOOL - give me a capibility to report to a tab delimited or a csv file. I'd like to print the info of names of disabled AD accounts so I can go back and delete them. Add that feature and a capibility to select specific OU's and find it's memebers would be great also.

Thanks.

I agree with those who would like the ability to output reports into some sort of format such as CSV, but I would also like to see the ability to sort users, groups and computer names alphabetically. Right now it sorts Users by Alpha, but Groups, OU's and Computers are listed the same way they are in AD which makes finding one you're looking for a little tough. I can always do a search within AD, but I like this tool for its ease of use in getting the object properties, it saves a lot of right clicks.

sobriant74, thanks for the post. We have already implemented the sorting ability for the users, groups, computers, OUs, as well as displaying and hiding different columns and changing columns' order. We will also have a quick search of an object from the grid as well as search directly from AD.
Everything will be available with our next release.
Thanks.

Reports geared towards a network security audit would be interesting. For example, user names with domain and enterprise admin priviliges, user logins and date of access, etc. Also, would it be possible to incorporate under "Computers" a listing of local shares and access privleges?

Nice product btw.

Steve Tyng

Can you add the ability to report the user's Terminal Services attributes?

Hello, We use your product since few months and I like it very much.

As we have a big AD, around 3500 users, I would like to have the ability to restrict my search to a specific OU or a bunch of specific OU.

Thanks

Sorry for the late response, yes we can add this ability, we already included it in our "TODO" list and will implement it in one of our future releases.
